Plot summary

Back in the late '60s, Marlo Thomas starred as one of television's first leading ladies to be presented as an independent woman. Each week, as the irrepressible "would-be" Broadway actress Ann Marie, Thomas would confront the heartaches and joys of living in Manhattan -- often on the arm of her magazine editor boyfriend, Donald.
