Kim Cattrall (Actor)
Bio: Born in Liverpool, England, on Aug. 21, 1956, Kim Cattrall wanted so much to become an actress that, at just 16 years old, she graduated from high school and moved to New York City to pursue her craft. The leggy blonde found steady work in the 1980s in films that mainly capitalized on her physical assets, including Porky's (1981), Police Academy (1984), Big Trouble in Little China (1986) and Mannequin (1987). But it wasn't till nearly a decade later for the actress to become a bona fide star, scoring five consecutive Emmy nominations for her portrayal of sexually uninhibited public relations executive Samantha Jones on the hit HBO dramedy "Sex and the City" (1998-2004).
During her six-season stint on the show, Cattrall also appeared on the big screen in Baby Geniuses (1999), Fifteen Minutes (2001) and Crossroads (2002), as well as the post-"Sex" Disney film Ice Princess (2005).
